Phonetics

Phonetics is the study of speech sounds of a language.


語音學的研究範疇包括以下三類：

發音語音學(articulatory phonetics): 這個分科研究的是發音器官（如唇、齒、舌、聲門等）如何彼此協調動作，以發出語音。


聲學語音學(acoustic phonetics): 這個分科研究的是語音的物理現象，如聲波的頻率、時長、振幅等。


聽覺語音學(auditory phonetics): 這個分科研究的是語音的感知歷程。
